Description: The half-length frontal portrait of seated Ágoston Lécs, abbot of Tihany (†1760) turned right. He wears a pileolus on his head. His eyes and moustache are brown, his beard is grey. He has a rochet and mozzetta on, and an abbot’s cross on his chest. His right hand points at the facade of the Tihany abbey and monastery inscribed Supra firmam Petram held in his left. He sits in an ornate armchair, with crosier, mitres, bookshelves in the background and a curtain on the left. Beneath the portrait the inscription reads: Rmus ac AMPLmus D: D: AUGUSTINUS LÉCS, ORD. S:P: BENED: A:A:L:L: & PHILO: MAGR: / NEC NON S:S: THEOL: BACCALAUR: FORMATUS. & PROFESSOR EMERITUS. MONAS-/ TERY EXEMPTI S: ANIANI EP: et CON: DE TIHANY ABBAS VIGILANTISSIMUS &c: & c:.
