Created: 1828? Material, technology: paper, pencil, ink Size: 25 x 122 cm Description: Packh designed the relief above the gate of the Pannonhalma tower built between 1828 and 1832. Several nicely executed preliminary drawings have survived, presumably the work of the designer. The lead relief work made by Andeas Schrott in 1831 preserved only the general form of the relief - a composition with numerous figures. The iconography of the original design was significantly changed, presumably at the request of the patron. | |
