Created: after 1802 Material, technology: paper, ink and wash Description: These are the first and second variations in a series of designs for a Baroque-style steeple to surmount the square columnar north-west tower of the abbey. The Benedictines returning to Pannonhalma in 1802 wanted to renovate the simple Baroque steeple according to this plan. The plan was never carried out and the tower was demolished in 1824. |
