Created: 1804 Material, technology: paper, ink and wash, watercolour Size: 31 x 35.5 cm Description: The plan for a Baroque style steeple to surmount the square columnar tower consists of one lavish plan and four simpler versions. The Benedictines returning to Pannonhalma in 1802 wanted to renovate the simple Baroque steeple atop the north-west tower of the monastery according to this plan. The plan was never carried out and the tower was demolished in 1824. |
