Created: Roman Material, technology: marble Size: l: 34 cm, diam.: 16,5 cm Description: This is a fragment of the lower part of a shaft (approx. one-quarter of the entire column). At the base is a mortise, where the metal tenon used to attach the shaft to the base was located. In the lower part there are two sheets tapering upward. Spiral fluting adorns the shaft of the column. The columns probably belonged originally to an aedicula. |  |
