Fragment of a Corinthian capital

Size: h: 37,5 cm, diameter of base: min. 24 cm

Description: Approximately half the capital remains., with the upper and lower layers intact. The calathus is adorned with three rows of overlapping acanthus leaves. The disks of the spiralling volutes underneath the corners of the abacus are bound together with vines.
