Description: The inscription - The Old View of the Abbey from the West - probably indicates that it was made after May 1824 when the construction of the new library began on the north-west corner of the monastery. The old medieval tower with Baroque dome still shown in the picture was then demolished. The castle walls extend in front of the long, Baroque facade. In the foreground in the centre is a pavilion with monks bowling.
