Created: Pest, 1781 Material, technology: silver gilt Size: h.: 29.5 cm Description: The construction and decoration of the three chalices are identical. A conical stem rests on the curved, dome-shaped, articulated base. The node is vase-shaped and the cup with mount is bell-shaped. The ornamentation is characteristically rococo: between the three pilasters are rocaille cartouches containing a bunch of grapes, while flower garlands adorn the node. The decoration of the cup mount is similar to that of the base. | 1 2 3 >> 1 2 3 >> |
