Material, technology: linden, paint layers removed, originally chalk coated, arms, legs, and wings missing

Size: h.: 115 cm

Description: The angel was originally floating and glancing downwards, and probably comes form the Baroque main altar of the abbey church. Together with the other angel statue, it probably belonged to the statue ensemble depicting the Ascension. Like the other statues of the main altar it was originally coated in chalk, and likewise comes from the workshop of Johann Josef Resler.
