Created: second half of the 19th century Material, technology: paper, pencil, 17.5 x 17 cm Description: This unsigned drawing shows a fragmented tombstone. The relief can still be seen built into the exterior of the medieval wall near the south-east corner of the Pannonhalma church. The drawing of this fragment, which certainly originated from a nearby Roman cemetery, was probably made by a 19th century Benedictine interested in local antiquities - perhaps by Flóris Rómer or Viktor Récsey. |
