Material, technology: oil on canvas Description: Jácint Rónay (1814-1889) entered the Benedictine order in 1831. He particpated in the 1848-49 War for Independence, after it lived in England until 1866. After his return he became the secretary of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. At the end of his life, he was elected the titulary bishop of Scutari. |  |
